Obelis is currently looking for a Customer Relations Consultant (UK-based)!
Your role and key responsibilities will be:
As a CR Consultant, you will play a key role at the intersection of client relations and regulatory affairs. In this r position, you will manage complex client situations, escalations, and regulatory challenges across the client base, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and solution-oriented support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handle complex client cases and escalations across the client base.
- Lead and manage difficult client interactions and negotiations, particularly in sensitive or high-risk situations.
- Ensure consistency and quality in client communication, aligned with service scope and internal standards.
- Coordinate with internal regulatory teams to deliver accurate and timely responses.
- Support the resolution of complaints and recurring client issues, including root cause identification and follow-up actions.
- Provide structured insights and recommendations based on client cases and regulatory trends. Identify risks and contribute to preventive actions and process improvements.
- Contribute to client-facing regulatory documentation, when required.
- Support alignment between CR, CS, Sales, and RA in complex situations.
- Participate in Obelis events.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid UK work permit.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Business, Communications, Regulatory Affairs, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in customer relations, consulting, or regulatory affairs.
- Proven experience handling complex cases, complaints, or escalations.
- Experience in a regulated environment is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Ability to manage high-pressure and complex scenarios with autonomy and sound judgment.
- Solid understanding of regulatory environments and their impact on clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate issues into practical improvements.Ability to work cross-functionally across teams and stakeholders.
- High level of organization and prioritization.
- Fluency in English (written and oral). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
