Obelis is currently working for an IT Helpdesk Support Consultant!

Your role and key responsibilities will be

 

1. Deliver information technology services to internal users and perform tasks and assignments received in a trouble ticketing system.

2. Perform various tasks associated with the IT department, system, and infrastructure:

  • Deploy and Operate Obelis IT internal and external systems.
  • Monitor, and maintain system performances (hardware & software).
  • Maintain & develop network and information systems such as Domain and extra-domain network devices, network Security devices, Servers, and services.
  • Manage credentials and users access control and remote accesses.
  • System deployment & backup.
  • Websites maintenance.

3. Ad hoc IT related tasks, projects & troubleshooting.

4. Follow-up on the tasks assigned.

5. Train interns and junior team members.

6. Manage external suppliers and support external suppliers in system development and in maintenance.

7. Provide internal trainings on department related matters.

8. Support the implementation of ISO quality standards.

 

Requirements

• BA/MA degree preferably in Computer Science/Informatics/Network Engineering.

• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of IT.

• Fluency in English (written & oral); Any other language is always a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Windows & Windows Server.

• Advanced knowledge in TCP/IP, Network topology, IP telephony, VOIP Networking.

• Advanced knowledge in Active Directory and domain network services.

• Advanced knowledge in MSFT SharePoint and MSFT 365 products.

• Knowledge in Information Security.

• Certifications in Quality Management: ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001

• General knowledge in CRMs and DMSs.

• Certifications in ITIL.

• Satisfactory knowledge in IT governance.

• Knowledge in Quality Management: ISO/IEC 27001.

• Excellent communications, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Problem solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to study, absorb & analyse information.

• Ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage tasks.

• High adaptability, flexibility and dedication supported by a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

• Excellent time-management skills.

• Ability to assume responsibilities.
