Commercial Internship (Sales & Customer Relations)

Obelis is looking for a Commercial Intern. This internship brings together two distinct roles/tracks within our commercial team:

  • Sales Internship
  • Customer Relations Internship

 

Important: candidates who apply will be considered for both tracks. Your final assignment (Sales or Customer Relations) will be confirmed during the recruitment process based on your interests and our needs.

 

Track 1 — Sales Intern (Your responsibilities)

  • Support key Sales activities (exhibitions & events, prospecting projects, issuing agreements, lead insertion in CRM, etc.)
  • Conduct business research to generate leads and support marketing campaigns
  • Support CRM maintenance (data, prices, quotations, etc.)
  • Generate new leads through emails and calls
  • Contact inactive leads to revive interest
  • Cold-call potential prospects
  • Follow up on tasks assigned to you
  • Contribute to the implementation of ISO
  • Provide ad-hoc support to your unit

 

Track 2 — Customer Relations Intern (Your responsibilities)

  • Provide professional, high-level, and smooth client service (internal & external)
  • Support Customer Relations tasks, including:
  • Manage and archive client documentation
  • Collect client feedback
  • Follow up on order forms
  • Promote Gold Packages
  • Respond to client queries by email and by phone
  • Follow up on tasks assigned to you
  • Contribute to the implementation of ISO
  • Provide ad-hoc support to your unit
  • Participate in Obelis events

 

Requirements (applies to both tracks)

  • EU work permit required
  • Bachelor/Master degree (preferably Business, Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or similar)
  • Fluent in English (written & oral); additional languages are a plus
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Excel is a plus)
  • Strong team player, clear communicator, quick learner, and self-motivated
  • Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines with high-quality results
  • Adaptable and proactive with a positive “can-do” attitude

 

Plus for Sales track: hunter mindset, comfortable with outreach/cold calling

Plus for Customer Relations track: prior customer service experience (advantage)

 

Internship terms & benefits

  • Location: Brussels
  • Full-time paid internship: 12 months (with possibility to develop your career at Obelis after the internship)
  • 18 days off - to be granted after start-up period: 3 months
  • 15 teleworking days from abroad - to be granted after start-up period: 3 months
